We let one Apopka mom (Jessica) follow us with her phone camera from pickup to delivery. Here’s exactly what happens to every bounce house after every party — no shortcuts, no exceptions.
Step 1 – Immediate Deflation & Roll
The second the kids leave, we deflate and loosely roll the unit so nothing gets trapped inside.
Step 2 – Vacuum Every Inch
Back at our Apopka warehouse, we unroll and vacuum with a commercial HEPA vacuum. Grass, leaves, glitter — gone.
Step 3 – Deep Scrub
We hand-wash the entire surface with mild, kid-safe soap and warm water. Seams, netting, and stairs get extra attention.
Step 4 – Hospital-Grade Disinfectant
We spray and wipe every square foot with the same CDC-approved disinfectant hospitals use (kills 99.9% of germs, viruses, and bacteria). We let it dwell the full required time — never rushed.
Step 5 – UV Inspection
We use a UV light to check for any missed spots (the light shows organic material that glows). If it glows, we clean again.
Step 6 – Final Rinse & Dry
Fresh water rinse, then air-dry in our climate-controlled warehouse. No musty smells ever.
Step 7 – Safety & Quality Check
We inflate it one more time, check seams, blowers, stakes, and netting. Only then does it go back on the “ready” shelf. We do this for every single unit — even if it’s booked again the same day.
Jessica said, “I’ve rented bounce houses before and they smelled like old gym socks. Too The Moon’s units smell like brand new!”
