One combo, or two separate units?

This is the question we get most often, and the answer is usually about space rather than money. A combo is a single inflatable — one footprint, one blower, one setup — that gives you a bounce floor and a slide together. Two separate units give you two lines and roughly double the throughput, but they need two spots in the yard and two power sources.

Our rule of thumb: if you have one flat, open area and fewer than about twenty-five kids, a combo does the job and leaves you room for tables. If you are running a school field day or a church festival where children arrive in waves, two units will move the crowd faster than one bigger combo will.

What 5-in-1 and 6-in-1 mean

The number counts the things inside the unit. A 5-in-1 typically pairs the bounce floor and slide with a climb section, a basketball hoop and interior obstacles; a 6-in-1 adds one more feature. Our Blue Crush and Lucky Princess units are 5-in-1s; the Disney Princess is a 6-in-1.

In practice, the number matters less than the age of the kids. Younger children spend nearly all their time on the bounce floor and the slide and barely touch the obstacles. Older kids — roughly eight and up — are the ones who actually use the hoop and the climb wall, and they are the reason the higher-count units earn their keep.

The themed units

Six of our ten combos are themed, and for a birthday party the theme often decides the booking before anything else does:

  • Star Wars Bounce House Combo (wet/dry)
  • Mickey and Friends Bounce House Combo (wet/dry)
  • Jurassic Park Bounce House Combo DL — dual lane
  • Disney Princess 6-in-1 Combo (wet/dry)
  • Lucky Princess 5-in-1
  • Galaxies Away Bounce House with Slide

The unthemed units — Modular Castle Water Slide Combo, Blue Crush 5-in-1, Sunny Drop — tend to be the choice for school events, block parties and corporate family days, where a licensed character is beside the point.

Wet or dry

Most of our combos are wet/dry, which is the single most useful feature on this page if you are booking more than a few weeks out. A wet/dry unit can run with the slide wet in August and completely dry in January, so you are not locked into a weather bet you made a month early. The Jurassic Park combo is dual lane on top of that, which is worth knowing if the guest list is long.

Before you book

Three things speed the whole process up. Know your surface — grass, driveway, pavers and turf all anchor differently, and telling us up front means we arrive with the right kit. Know your access — these units come in through a gate, so if the only way into the back yard is a narrow side path, mention it. And know your window — we set delivery times by the Friday before your event, and depending on the route that weekend we may arrive anywhere from thirty minutes to six hours ahead, occasionally the day before.

We serve Apopka, Orlando, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Altamonte Springs, Winter Park, Windermere, Clermont, Mount Dora, Eustis, Leesburg, Lake Mary, Longwood, Maitland and Sanford. If you are just outside that list, call the office — we can usually work something out.
