Every weekend we set up bounce houses all over Apopka, and the #1 question kids ask is, “What games can we play inside?”
We’ve tested hundreds of games in real backyards with real kids. These are the 12 that make them scream “Best party ever!”
Game 1 – Classic Bounce Tag
One person is “It.” If they tag you, you’re frozen until another player crawls under your legs to unfreeze you. Works perfectly in our Princess Castle Combo or Superhero Bounce House — see them here: Shop all bounce houses.
Game 2 – Popcorn
Everyone jumps at the same time like popcorn popping in a pan. Count down “3-2-1 POP!” and see who can jump the highest. Our Unicorn Magic Bounce makes kids feel like they’re flying on clouds.
Game 3 – Freeze Dance Bounce
Play music on a Bluetooth speaker. When the music stops, everyone has to freeze mid-jump. Last one moving is out! Parents love this one because it actually tires the kids out.
Game 4 – Balloon Keep-Up
Toss 20 balloons inside and see how long the group can keep them off the floor. Add a rule: only one bounce per kid before passing to a friend. Works great in any combo unit.
Game 5 – Obstacle Course Relay
Only possible with our 50FT Alligator Alley Obstacle Course — split into two teams and race through tunnels, over walls, and down the slide. Fastest team wins medals (we can bring those too!).

Game 6 – Simon Says Bounce Edition
“Simon says jump high!” … “Simon says bounce on one foot!” If Simon doesn’t say it and you do it, you’re out. Parents can play too!
Game 7 – Pirate Treasure Hunt
Hide gold chocolate coins inside our Pirate Adventure Combo. Kids have to bounce, crawl, and slide to find the treasure. The plank slide feels like walking the plank!
Game 8 – Superhero Training Academy
Set up “laser beams” (red yarn) inside the Marvel Superhero Bounce House. Kids have to jump and crawl without touching the lasers. Perfect for little Spider-Men and Wonder Women.
Game 9 – Dinosaur Egg Toss
Use soft foam balls as “dino eggs” inside the Dinosaur Water Combo (dry mode). Teams toss eggs into baskets at the opposite end.
Game 10 – Limbo Bounce
Hold a pool noodle at the entrance. Everyone has to bounce forward and duck under without falling. Lower it each round!
Game 11 – Musical Bounce Spots
Put colorful mats inside. When the music stops, everyone has to land on a mat. Remove one each round like musical chairs.
Game 12 – Glow-in-the-Dark Bounce Party
After sunset, add battery-powered LED lights and glow sticks inside any bounce house. Our crew can bring black-light strips for an epic glow effect.
